Applying pre-coating to small screws and bolts
Small screws and bolts for electro-mechanical applications
Small screws and bolts with diameters from 2 to 5 mm are found on a large number of electro-mechanical equipment.
Pre-coating the threads with a micro-encapsulated adhesive not only ensures the locking function by bonding, but also seals against most fluids.
The pre-coating solution effectively replaces the need to apply liquid threadlocker during assembly. In addition to significant productivity gains on assembly operations, pre-coating guarantees the presence of a braking product in the assembly and provides better technical control of tightening and loosening torques.
For adjustment screws or applications that can be dismantled several times, we apply a polyamide patch to the threads, which provides relatively low braking but can be repositioned: the parts can be screwed on and off several times.
